Monteverdi crash when current dir is not writable
Mantis Issue 214, reported by jmalik, assigned to msavinaud, created: 2010-12-06
Without write permission on the directory where monteverdi is launched, a crash happens due to curl needing to save some files
It can be seen when viewing a georeferenced image, for which the pixel information generates curl calls.
An exception should be raised and properly catched
1299085802 - christopNow that curl-xml parsing can work entirely in memory, that shouldn't even be an issue.
1299679399 - julienmFor PlaceNameToLonLat and CoordinateToName it's OK now.
But there should still be a problem with the Caching directory.
1299754121 - mickaelThere are no problem about caching a dataset in a directory where it is not possible (as /). GDAL return a error which is casted and reported in the MsgReporter window.
This bug can be closed with the corrections done by julien.
