The reprojection module can't reproject a sensor model image into WSG84
Mantis Issue 299, reported by abricier, assigned to jmalik, created: 2011-05-17
The result of a reprojection/extraction in WGS84 of a sensor model image (quickbird) is not correctly reprojected.
1305649125 - christopIs is the reprojection or the viewer? What happen when you save the image on disk and look at it manually? Is it the correct area?
1305709916 - aurelienThe area is indeed correct (checked with QGIS). Thus, reprojecting into UTM31 instead of WGS84 produces an image of the same area but the viewer is able to superimpose it with the Midi-Pyrenees roads shapefile. In QGIS the WGS84 image and the shapefile are superimposed so it might mean the the monteverdi viewer is not able to display a WSG84 shapefile onto a WGS84 image correctly.
1305733428 - christopCan you check what the origin and spacing are for the image in WGS84?
1305734743 - aurelienOrigin and spacing values seem to be what they are supposed to be:
Origin = (1.459435000000000,43.578256000000003) Pixel Size = (0.000031738900000,-0.000024867800000)
1305735253 - aurelienI just found a new clue: the WGS84 image is saved with its metadatas through a .geom. When I supress this .geom, and try to superimpose t
