Monteverdi 2 does not support LUM image format, contrary to Monteverdi 1
Mantis Issue 894, reported by sdinot, assigned to jmichel, created: 2014-02-19
Opening a LUM image fails with the following message : 'Ce format de fichier ne permet pas d'utiliser les pyramides multi-résolutions'
Workaround :
- either create a .hdr file along the .lum file and open it as ENVI format
- or use Monteverdi 1
1397822458 - mickaelThis due to the fact that for LUM file, OTB use its LUMImageIO which didn't allow to generate overviews or use it. The workaround with hdr headers is the best solutions before :
- a LUM driver into GDAL
- the support by OTB of internal overviews for non GDAL ImageIO
1399885577 - mickaeltry to deactivate the try catch and continue with no overviews
1429256415 - julienApply the proposed solutions.
1441893232 - julienCheck and exception are removed, and the program opens lum like a charm.
