.kml files with several polygons are not recognized by OGR or QGis
Mantis Issue 51, reported by gborrut, assigned to msavinaud, created: 2008-12-09
Kml files which contain several polygons can be read by Google Earth, but are not recognized by OGR or QGis.
Is this could be related with KML issues? KML have some limits regarding the number of coordinates in complex geometries like polygons.

1267446155 - christopProblem seems related to the fact that ogr can't read the kml we produce with the KMLVectorDataIO. See the new tests ioTvKMLVectorDataFileGeoReaderWriter ioTvKMLVectorDataFileGeoReaderWriter2
the kml are properly written, but the --compare-ogr (which is using directly the ogr method) can't reread the file.

1303487036 - christopTake a kml file produced by OTB with several polygons and try ogrinfo on it.
1303804398 - mickaelProduce a vectordata with vectorization module of monteverdi, Export dataset to a kml file ogrinfo -al with the kml file All info seems to be exact and correctly reported (using kml driver successful).
1303832559 - christopif the test file above had multiple polygons, I think we can close the bug.
1303890424 - mickaelYou can check with the attached file done with the Toulouse QB and the vectorization module.
