Thanks for your work, it looks awesome !
I'd like to build the module with GDAL 3.0 (system default version for Ubuntu 20.04).
In the README you're mentioning
>If you want to use the provided applications with a GDAL version < 3.1, you may need to update the file `include/otbOGRAffineTransformation.h`
Could you please develop how to address this ? What about `myOGRAffineTransformation.h_`, is it the right way to do it ?https://gitlab.orfeo-toolbox.org/remote_modules/image-to-db-registration/-/issues/3Improve ImageToDBRegistration outputs2021-03-31T15:28:27ZYannick TANGUYImprove ImageToDBRegistration outputsThis issue gathers several modifications that can help users to understand how the algorithm works.

- returns the transformation as float values : the application could provide two outputs (transformation_x, transformation_y)
- display the nb of points used to estimate translation : in the final loop, we could display how many triplets are taken into account to find a translation
- stops algorithm if all segments have been filtered. Sometimes it happens that no segment is kept. In such case, we need to stop the application instead of returning a [0,0] transform.https://gitlab.orfeo-toolbox.org/remote_modules/image-to-db-registration/-/issues/2Register two images together2021-03-31T15:28:27ZYannick TANGUYRegister two images togetherThe application ImageToDBRegistration could easily register two images together, by taking as input two set of segments, instead of a polygon database and a segment set (from LSD).

This is a quite small modification and it had already been successfully tested.https://gitlab.orfeo-toolbox.org/remote_modules/image-to-db-registration/-/issues/1Add a mask to filter segments2021-03-18T08:21:09ZYannick TANGUYAdd a mask to filter segmentsA lot of segments are some times detected in the vegetation and could be filtered before applying registration.

In a more general way, we could provide a binary mask to filter segments in any area. This filter will be applied before filtering segments on geometrical criteria.
