Mean Shift: different display of results in the module and in the Viewer
Mantis Issue 242, reported by sdinot, assigned to cvalladeau, created: 2011-03-03
I'm running the example described in the second video tutorial in http://www.orfeo-toolbox.org/otb/monteverdi.html
In the Mean Shift module, I get a display as in the video tutorial (see montv_meanshift1.jpeg) https://sites.google.com/site/openfiles2/home/montv_meanshift1.jpeg
but the result is very different if displayed with the Viewer or in the SVM classification module (i.e., the continuation of the video tutorial) (see montv_supclassif1.jpeg): https://sites.google.com/site/openfiles2/home/montv_supclassif1.jpeg
I get the same problem with Monteverdi 1.6.1-1 on 2 different machines: Dell 64bits with ubuntu 10.04 Toshiba Portege M400 (32bits) with ubuntu 9.10
Any explanation to this?
1300093022 - aloboJust found a way to avoid the problem (not to solve it) at least for Ubuntu 10.04: Avoid any Visual effects, for which you just have to open the Ubuntu menu System/Preferences/Appearance/Visual Effects
and select None and restart Monteverdi.

1300093337 - aloboTis problem is not avoided by selecting None in Ubuntu menu System/Preferences/Appearance/Visual Effects
(as was the case for the regular Viewer module)

1307465263 - C ValladeauFix here : http://hg.orfeo-toolbox.org/Monteverdi/rev/46b2619ae646. There was a display bug in the application. The displayed image was a mix between the cluster and the input images. Thanks for your feedback.
