Monteverdi doesn't delete files in Caching
Mantis Issue 294, reported by echristophe, assigned to cvalladeau, created: 2011-05-10
Files are still in the Caching directory after leaving monteverdi and saying yes to deleting the cache.
No test are failing showing the issue.
1305029249 - C ValladeauThe caching module only erase the file generated in the current Monteverdi instance. For this each Caching instance contains the path to the file it has generated. When we close Monteverdi, we parse all chaching module instance and delete the corresponding file(s).
Why don't we simply erase the whole directory?
1305029714 - julienmI think the purpose was to keep the OSM tiles downloaded, and just erase the module outputs which have been cached.
I'd go also for the KISS approach and simply erase the whole dir.
1305042458 - christopIn that case, we didn't erase anything, the tiles or the cached image. Careful with erasing the whole dir... a bug in the code and we erase all the user files.
The path to be erased should appear in the confirmation box at least.
1305192196 - C ValladeauFix in http://hg.orfeo-toolbox.org/Monteverdi/rev/4ee175b6464b.
- Ask confirmation
- Remove the directory
- Control the permission before writing cach data
