Every "<" or ">" character is interpreted as ¿ in Cookbook
Mantis Issue 483, reported by cvalladeau, assigned to cvalladeau, created: 2012-01-17
Every < or > presents in the application document appears as ¿ in the pdf and html CookBook see for example the description of "Feature expression" in the Compute Polyline Feature From Image application.
1326875088 - julienI noticed that too. Two suggestions :
-
We should avoid using < or > for other purpose than "lower than" or "higher than" (i.e. no arrow drawing).
-
We can handle conversion between < and latex \\leq in the ConvertString method of the doc generation script :
Similar cases are already handled here.
1326880910 - C ValladeauI think this is more a Latex issue. In example code snippet, "<" and ">" are OK. Problems only appears in subsection or subsubsection text.
1326897182 - julienIt is normal that the < and > are ok in code snippet, because they are in a lstlisting (dedicated to code printing) latex environement.
The solution is to handle the case in the ConvertString method.
