UTF-8 paths not managed by MVD2
Mantis Issue 682, reported by sdinot, assigned to msavinaud, created: 2013-03-14
MVD2 (0.3.0, d9e95db14d1a revision) fails to open a file when its access path contains one UTF-8 character.
For example, it can open the following file:
/home/me/Download/Image.tif
But it fails on this one:
/home/me/Téléchargements/Image.tif
The following message appears on the console:
[...] Dataset path: "/home/me/mvd2" Dataset name: "_home_me_Téléchargements_Image.tif.ds" ERROR 4: `/home/me/T?l?chargements/Image.tif' does not exist in the file system, and is not recognised as a supported dataset name. [...]
