SVM classification rewrites cluster labels above 256
Mantis Issue 700, reported by sdinot, assigned to cpeyrega, created: 2013-04-16
When using cluster labels above 256, SVM classification images show new labels and no labels above 256, even with "uint16" set for output.
In my case it has replaced labels 300,301,400,401,402,403 and 500 by labels 44,45,144,145,146,147 and 244. Actually it rewrites labels on a 8 bits base : new label = "label>256"-256.
1371568166 - cpeyregaThis issue was resolved with the following OTB revision: (Revision OTB 15990: http://hg.orfeo-toolbox.org/OTB/rev/ae25bfcfc34c)
The classification map with 4 classes (1000, 2000, 3000 and 4000) that I generated as a UINT 16 output image from my dataset is now fully OK.
Could you please give me some feedback to check if the problem is fully resolved before I close it.
Thank you in advance.
1371649287 - cpeyregaA new version of the ImageClassifier application generating UINT16 classification maps, thus with a maximal label value equal to 65535, is available:

Thank you in advance for giving some feedback about your initial issue with your dataset before I close the bug.
1371721829 - MartValI can't give feedback for now, we've got crashes with this application, on rev 15996. A bugtracker about this problem will be submitted soon, but for now I'm not able to test.
