Doubt about margin computation formula for mean shift smoothing in MeanShiftSmoothingImageFilter
Mantis Issue 963, reported by mgrizonnet, assigned to ghost, created: 2014-08-26
In the publication "Stable Mean-Shift Algorithm and Its Application to the Segmentation of Arbitrarily Large Remote Sensing Images", the value for margin m for the filtering step is:
m = jmax ? hs + 1
(with jmax the max number of iteration and hs the spatial bandwidth)
In the MeanShiftSmoothingImageFilter, the formula seems to be:
m = (jmax + 1) * hs
In my opinion the formula in the paper is the right one.

1409214094 - grizonnetmthe formula in the paper is :
m = jmax * hs + 1
