Recent release of Git transparently handle Git-LFS. Nvertheless, this strategy is not as efficient than letting git lfs command do the job, specifically in a situation with numerous files managed with LFS.

@aregimbeau can you merge this branch into develop?

PS: I fixed a typo in comment and canceled the triggered pipelines (no need to spend time/money for such thing).
